At today's OnePlus event, there was little that really surprised. And so the OnePlus 7T Pro in the McLaren edition was announced as expected . In the hardware used, however, the device hardly differs from the cheaper "normal" OnePlus 7T Pro . The Chinese manufacturer also installed a Snapdragon 855+ from Qualcomm. This processor is supported here by 12 GB of RAM as opposed to the little brother's 8 GB of RAM. Furthermore, there are also 256 GB UFS 3.0 memory in the smartphone. The installed QHD + panel, like the other current devices of the manufacturer, also has an update rate of 90 hz. The battery is delivered as expected with Warp Charge 30T and with 4085mAH.
In the case of the battery, the cameras, etc., there should be no differences to the normal version. So the main camera with 48 MP dissolves, while the wide-angle sensor with 16 and the 3x zoom camera with 8 MP manage.
However, for many potential customers, apart from the specifications, design will also be a decisive factor. The typical dark carbon look of McLaren on the back is complemented by the color papaya orange. The notification LED also lights up here in the distinctive orange, while the default Wallpaper as wallpaper on the lock screen is a minimalist clock in the typical McLaren design. Even if you unlock the device, you will immediately get a specially adapted Android design in the style of the automaker presented.
The OnePlus 7T Pro in the McLaren edition will be available from 7th November 2019 for a proud 859€.
